Say goodbye to the 128GB version of the Quest 3; the company will now only offer the 512GB version at a new, more attractive price.
With the launch of the Quest 3S and the discontinuation of the Quest 2 and Quest Pro, Meta's lineup is undergoing some shuffling to make way for its new entry-level XR headset, the Quest 3S.
The 512GB version of the Quest 3, which launches in late 2023 for $650, is still the company’s top-of-the-range XR headset. Meta, which initially launched for $500, announced today at Connect that it’s retiring the 128GB version and dropping the larger storage option to its new $500 price tag.
