All aboard: Life-size Japanese model trains debut at Hong Kong cafe

TOKYO — Want to see Japan a century ago? A new eatery in Hong Kong gives visitors a glimpse of a bygone era with two life-size models of vintage model railway carriages.

Located inside a Japanese anime retail center in the Tsim Sha Tsui district, Hara Cafe consists of two cars based on scale models built by the late and internationally renowned railway enthusiast Nobutaro Hara.
