Games inspired by the internet legend 'The Backrooms' are often pretty scary, but PC games POOLS (2024) There's a different way to get under your skin. No monsters. Just pools. And soon, you'll be able to play in VR.
Developer Tensori brings VR support Pools It's scheduled to arrive soon as a free update to the PC game.
The game, which throws you into a spooky, maze-like pool facility, is also coming to PS5 alongside PSVR 2, according to the PlayStation Store listing.
Pools The studio released the game on Steam earlier this year, receiving generally 'Very Positive' user reviews, and says that it “can feel oppressive at times, evoking fear of getting lost, darkness, cramped spaces, and borderline spatial architecture.”
There's no release date yet, but Tensori says it will announce “full details on when the update will be coming very soon” in a Steam update. The studio has previously said it's “likely to arrive later this year”, though it hasn't made any promises.
It should also be noted that the studio has not yet made a statement on whether it plans to offer Quest support, but we hope so.
