KUALA LUMPUR — Capital A, the parent company of Malaysian budget carrier AirAsia, and PT Garuda Indonesia have agreed to cooperate in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of jet aircraft.
Capital A subsidiary Asia Digital Engineering and PT Garuda subsidiary PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia will launch a joint venture with a joint investment of $12 million. Plans are for the facility to begin operations early next year and provide landing gear solutions to Southeast Asia's growing aviation maintenance market.
