TOKYO — China and North Korea are taking military cooperation with Russia to an alarming level. In return for their support in the Ukraine war, Moscow is helping those countries build up their military capabilities — which could trigger a chain reaction of conflicts around the world.
Of particular concern is the growing military partnership between Russia and North Korea. According to Ukrainian authorities, North Korea has delivered 2.8 million artillery shells and up to 60 ballistic missiles to Russia since the start of the conflict this summer.
