SYDNEY — Australian rock lobsters will finally return to Chinese dining tables during the peak Lunar New Year season, marking the end of a nearly four-year “disastrous” period for the industry.
“Prime Minister Li and I have agreed on a timetable to restore full crab trade by the end of this year,” Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told a press conference after meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Thursday on the sidelines of an ASEAN summit in Laos.
