Chinese self-driving startup WeRide delays U.S. IPO

NEW YORK – Self-driving startup WeRide has delayed plans for a Nasdaq initial public offering, which would have been the biggest debut for a Chinese company in more than three years, citing time needed to complete filing requirements.

“It is currently taking longer than expected to update the transaction documents and WeRide is working to complete the necessary documents to proceed with the transaction,” the company said in a statement to CNBC on Thursday.
