'Dumb Ways to Die' isn't just a rail safety campaign with weird little bean men. It's soon to be a VR game with a bunch of multiplayer mini-games.
In the name Stupid Ways: Free for AllThe game has six Beans take on various challenges around the world, taking you to “generally safe places,” where you earn coins that you can use to buy avatar outfits to further beautify your Bean before facing off against her friends.
The game also lets you play alone, but then you won't be able to steal points from your friends while playing a series of mini-games (50 points total at launch).
Developed by PlaySide Studios, Stupid Ways: Free for All It's coming exclusively to Quest 3 on November 7th and will cost $20. You can add it to your wishlist now in the Horizon Store.
The studio also plans to bring 50 more mini-games (25 per DLC) with two free DLCs coming in December and January.
Dumb Ways to Die, which began as an Australian rail safety public service announcement for Melbourne’s Metro Trains in 2012, has surpassed its viral success after the series was sold to PlaySide Studios, which has published a number of mobile games for iOS and Android.
