HONG KONG — Hong Kong's financial sector has launched an ambitious project to facilitate traditional asset transactions using digital tokens.
The de facto central bank, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), launched Project Ensemble Sandbox in a hall on the 56th floor of the International Finance Centre, the skyscraper in the Central Financial District where the HKMA is headquartered.
