'Into Black' Teases More 'Deep Rock Galactic' Vibes in New Trailer, Coming to Quest in October

Towards BlackAn upcoming co-op action adventure for Quest showed off more Deep Rock Galactic– themed gameplay video was shared in a new trailer, and it was announced that pre-orders were also opened.

Developed by VR studio The Binary Mill Resist, HURRY, Mini Motor Racing X And Gun Club VR, Into the Black takes you into deep space for some familiar digging, mining, and intense exploration. Here's how the studio describes it:

A lone wanderer on the edge of space, a mystery as old as the universe itself, and a little robot who just wants to make tea.

Into Black is a first-person action adventure game that takes you deep into a mysterious alien planet.

Explore the endless darkness, mine valuable resources, and battle alien monsters as you try to repair your ship and escape.

The studio says the game will launch with 20+ levels when it launches in October, allowing you to gather resources and upgrade vehicles. This includes multiple unique biomes like magma chambers, sunken caverns, labyrinth tunnels, alien nests, and more.

You can play both single-player and cooperative mode, Towards Black It's also planned to feature a PvPvE mode where you can face off against up to 11 other players and must navigate a “shrinking maze” to collect as much loot as possible.

Towards Black It's currently available for pre-order for $20, or 20% off the launch price of $25. In Europe, you can get it for much less, as the pre-order price is €12 instead of €15.

The developer says the game was designed to “leverage the power of Quest 3” while also supporting Quest 2 and Quest Pro.
