Japan machine tool orders rise in July on Chinese demand

TOKYO — Orders received by Japanese machine tool makers rose 8% year-on-year to 123.9 billion yen ($850 million) in July.

According to data published by the Japan Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (JMTBA), this number has increased year-on-year for the third month in a row.
