TOKYO — Japan's Fanuc said on Friday it expects net profit to rise for the fiscal year ending March 2025 as demand for Chinese robotic machines recovers, although its core robotics division continues to suffer from weak investments in electric vehicles.
According to the new forecast, net profit will rise 1% to 134.3 billion yen ($883 million). The company had previously expected a 6% decline to 125.3 billion yen.
