Resolution Games announced Spatial OperationsThe studio's multiplayer mixed reality shooter, currently in beta, will launch fully on Quest next month.
Update (October 14, 2024): Spatial Ops is now heading towards its full launch on November 14th on Quest 2/3/Pro for $20 ($15 for pre-orders).
Besides multiplayer shooting, the game also features a two-hour Campaign Mode for some story-based wave shooting action. A separate Campaign Edition for Pico 4 headphones with Campaign Mode is also launching on November 14.

Original Article (June 26, 2024): Spatial Operations It allows you to turn any physical space large enough for mixed reality gaming into a virtual battlefield filled with barriers and an array of weapons including Tommy guns, pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, grenades and riot shields. I liken it a little more to a game of laser tag on steroids.
It has 1-8 players, Spatial Operations It offers a variety of modes, including a solo PvE bot mode and PvP modes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination, and Free-For-All.
While the game seems designed with VR arcades in mind, it's basically easy for anyone to understand, thanks to a handy level editor. Spatial Operations and adapt it to their living room, basement, or well-lit outdoor location for some pretty impressive battles. Check out our first hands-on video here to learn more.
Resolution Games says launch version Spatial Operations It will focus on reduced playtime setup, preset and animated maps, performance optimization, more gameplay, more enemies and more modes.
Spatial Operations The wishlist in Quest 2/3/Pro is already available via the Horizon Store (former Quest Store). If you are interested in playing the open beta, you can play it through SideQuest until the full version is released.
