Pico has introduced its new XR headset, the Pico 4 Ultra, which is scheduled to go on sale in China next month starting at $600.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Pico was preparing some sort of XR headset based on the Pico 4 platform following an alleged leak.
Byte Dance’s XR subsidiary Pico Interactive has finally announced the Pico 4 Ultra, the promised ‘next-gen’ platform refresh of its Pico 4 headset. This refresh features a second-generation version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 chip, along with color-graded cameras and depth sensors for mixed and virtual reality. This chip is the same chipset used in the Meta Quest 3.

- Battery: 5,700 mAh nominal capacity, 5774 mAh typical capacity
- Charge: QC 4.0 / PD 3.0, support 45W fast charger
The Pico 4 Ultra is currently available for pre-order in China, priced at RMB 4,300 (~$600 USD), and is scheduled to ship on September 2.
It's unclear whether Pico will bring the Pico 4 Ultra to other countries, but it has been certified in South Korea. UploadVR Notes. Pico currently sells its original 2022-era Pico 4 in many countries in East Asia and Europe, but not in the United States.
