Ray-Ban parent EssilorLuxottica reveals 5% stake in Nikon

TOKYO — Global eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica has a 5.1% stake in Nikon, according to a Japanese securities filing on Monday.

EssilorLuxottica owns many eyewear brands worldwide, including Ray-Ban. It has a market capitalization of about 96 billion euros ($105 billion) and sales of 25.3 billion euros for 2023, about six times Nikon's revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31.
