Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded It performed pretty poorly when it launched on Quest 3 last week, and is now [2,7/5] The stellar user ratings came alongside an overwhelmingly negative response from critics everywhere. Now developer XR Games is rolling out its first major update that hopes to fix a myriad of issues.
In our full review we gave: Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded A [3/10]Although it was technically playable on launch day, not only Recommendable This is because the original was optimized poorly to run on the Quest, and on top of that, the original's brightness level was way too low.
During our review, the studio said that a 'Day 4 Patch' confirmed to be released today, September 9, would fix some of these issues. We haven't applied the patch yet, but we look forward to seeing it in action when it's released, presumably later today.

Major Additions and Changes
- Significant improvements to LOD explosion (adjusted LOD distance — world elements will appear from further away)
- Added stabilizer for sniper rifles when aiming with the sight down

- Adjusted lighting to better balance light in dark areas

- Fixed blockers on all levels to reduce issues with flickering, floating and invisible environmental elements
- Fixed assets at all levels to eliminate Z-fighting and gaps in environments
- Fixed holes and floating entities in different parts of the land

- Microphone Presence in Asado center is now displayed [Mendoza]
- Improved textures on all levels
- Added water textures to the Carpathian Mountains
- Texture is displayed when firing a bullet while throwing a flash grenade
- VR markers no longer appear behind the UI in certain options
- Fixed a potential crash when exiting the pause menu to the main menu while a cinematic is playing
- Cinematics now play in the first-ever selection of Mendoza and Chongqing
- Window frame assets are now displayed in both eyes from medium-long distance
- Players can no longer see the items they are holding when entering the “Dance with Diana” quest exit [Mendoza]
- Completing “The Final Test” now plays the “Call Me 47” cutscene
- The environment no longer passes through the train floor [Carpathian Mountains]
- Selecting 'Continue Story' after completing a mission from a loaded save will now play a cinematic
- Adjusted light diffusion and VFX at all levels
- Fixed Ancient Cannon smoke VFX [Mendoza]
- Torches have correct light spread VFX [Berlin]
- Improved visual effects for water bottle explosions
- Added water visual effects to the fountain [Dubai]
- Loading screen graphics no longer appear slanted or at the wrong height when the HMD is tilted before appearing
