BEIJING/SHENZHEN — A knife attack on a 10-year-old boy in Shenzhen has raised concerns among the Japanese community in China, months after a similar incident in Suzhou.
According to Shenzhen authorities, the child was stabbed by a 44-year-old man around 8am on Wednesday. The attack took place on the sidewalk about 200 meters away from the Japanese school where the child was studying. The child was accompanied by a parent who was not injured.
