TOKYO — Sony Group and Honda Motor will use artificial intelligence to boost self-driving capabilities in the electric cars the partners are developing, the Nikkei has learned by keeping up with technology leader Tesla.
Joint venture Sony Honda Mobility will introduce AI-powered autonomous driving on the luxury Afeela, which is expected to debut in Japan and the US in 2026.
