Tokyo Electron looks to tap India’s chip potential early on: CEO

NEW DELHI – Japanese semiconductor equipment maker Tokyo Electron is aiming to get in on the ground floor of India's expanding chip supply chain, President and CEO Toshiki Kawai told the Nikkei in an interview at this year's Semicon India trade show, which ended on Friday.

“By 2026, we would like to set up a system to deliver equipment and provide after-sales support,” Kawai India said.
