Tough-on-China bills set for approval by U.S. House this week

NEW YORK – US lawmakers are pushing ahead with a series of anti-China bills this week as Congress returns from summer recess, including barring federal contractors from working with Chinese biotech companies.

Dubbed “China Week,” the House will vote on dozens of bills targeting China and its companies, according to a website maintained by the chamber.
