Twisted Claymation VR Adventure 'The Midnight Walk' Coming to PSVR 2 and PC VR in Spring 2025, Trailer Here

MoonHood is a studio founded by the developers behind Random Lost (2021) And Ghost Giant (2019)finally announced the VR projects that have been worked on for a long time, Midnight Walk.

MoonHood first announced last year that it was collaborating with VR veteran Fast Travel Games as publisher on a mysterious new game that showcases a series of dark and distorted clay objects that will form the basis of gaming assets through 3D scanning.

MoonHood reveals they'll be coming to PlayStation 5, PSVR 2, Steam and PC VR headsets Midnight Walk “a respectable, dark, fantasy, first-person adventure game built entirely out of clay.”

In the game, you play as 'The Burnt One', heading into the dark, handcrafted world with a lost lantern creature named Potboy. Use its flame to light your way as you navigate a twisting path and survive by outsmarting terrifying monsters eager to devour your little friend's fire.

Midnight Walk It is said to feature five episodes featuring its own quirky cast of characters; all of these are animated in a stop motion style that harkens back to claymation-based films like Tim Burton's. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).

The game is scheduled to arrive on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets in Spring 2025. You can now create your wish list on PlayStation Store and Steam, which also promise flat screen support for PS5 and PC.
