U.K. to supply torpedoes to AUKUS partners, train more Australians

LONDON — The United Kingdom has agreed to provide submarine fighter torpedoes to its AUKUS partners, British Defense Secretary John Healey said Thursday after a meeting with his US and Australian counterparts in London.

He also said the UK would train hundreds more Australians to operate, maintain and adjust nuclear-powered submarines after 250 people completed a nuclear engineering course this month.
