WASHINGTON — China raised concerns about U.S. tariffs and investment restrictions as top U.S. officials spoke about China's industrial overcapacity at a two-day meeting in Beijing that ended Friday.
The meeting was co-chaired by China's Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min and US Treasury Undersecretary for International Affairs Jay Shambaugh. It was the fifth meeting of the two countries' Economic Working Group and followed Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's visit to China in April.
