Looking to sink your teeth into a new VR shooter? Zero Caliber 2 The next big shooter from XREAL Games, we’re delighted to see that its alleged eight-hour story can be played in co-op with up to four players in total. News: Town Story Developer Shares Updates About New Game 'Project 2'
We first reported on Alta Studio's next game, the untitled 'Project 2', back in April. Alta Studio, Town StoryA rather unique social VR game available on Quest and PC VR.
The studio has been sharing occasional developer updates that offer a transparent look at the creation of 'Project 2', its multiplayer dungeon exploration game.
The latest updates, #11 and #12, see improvements to enemy behavior, audio, and visuals. They also look at the current gameplay loop, which involves players constantly finding markers on the map that lead them to a boss. When a boss is killed, it will drop a key that players can take to a specific location to open a portal and take it out with their loot.
The updates also suggest that the game will feature a branching skill tree that allows players to specialize in different classes with different skills. All players start as a 'newbie' but become more diverse over time as they choose a direction in the skill tree.
Discount: Dungeons of Eternity There is a 50% Discount on Quest
While we're on the subject of dungeon crawlers, co-op dungeon crawler Dungeons of Eternity Quest is approaching its one-year anniversary with a massive 50% discount, valid through August 25th.
Dungeons of Eternity It was released last October and has received a lot of attention from users, earning a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 3,100 reviews, making it one of Quest's best-rated games. The game has seen several updates since its release, adding new weapons, environments, and more. It supports co-op play for up to three players.
Upcoming Update: The weak ones 'Sandboxxer' Update
VR mech fighter The weak ones It's getting a big update on August 29th. The 'Sandboxxer' update will add sandbox tools so players can create their own challenging battles. There will also be leaderboards to compete in, challenges to conquer, and a practice gym to try out and train.
The weak ones Released in early 2024, it uses a unique movement and combat system that puts players in direct control of a mech with fun crashing and ramming gameplay. The game has been rated exceptionally well by players on both current platforms, Quest and Steam.
